School of Management Studies, Karpagam College of Engineering, organized ALOHA 2025, a webinar on the theme “Business Without Borders: Embracing Diversity in Leadership and Strategy” on 25th September 2025. The event was designed to create awareness among management students about the growing significance of diversity and inclusion in leadership and the need to develop global strategies for success in a borderless business world.

The session featured Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ratneswary Rasiah, Graduate School of Business, SEGi University, Malaysia, as the distinguished resource person. Dr. Ratneswary delivered an engaging and insightful session on cross-cultural leadership, emphasizing the power of diversity in fostering creativity, innovation, and collaboration in organizations. She shared real-world examples illustrating how inclusive leadership practices and cultural intelligence contribute to sustainable business success in an increasingly globalized environment.

The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. C. Meera, Head of the School of Management Studies, followed by an address by Dr. P. Karthigaikumar, Principal, who highlighted the importance of developing international leadership competencies among students. Ms. R. Shivani, Assistant Professor and event coordinator, introduced the resource person and briefed the participants on the objectives of the webinar.

The interactive session was well-received by students and faculty members, who actively participated during the Q&A segment. The discussions helped participants gain a deeper understanding of global business perspectives and leadership diversity.
