About the Department

The department was established with an undergraduate programme in Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) in 2020. This is a specialization branch of Computer Science and Engineering in which students get the technical knowledge in the Computer Science and Engineering, Cyber Security, Digital Forensic and emerging areas such as Device Security and Forensics. The department is well equipped with laboratories like Cryptography Lab, Network Security Lab, Internet and Web Application Security Lab, Ethical Hacking Lab, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing Lab, Malware Analysis, Secure Coding Lab, Cyber Forensics and Digital Forensics lab.

The department has well-experienced and highly-motivated faculty members and their major areas include Networking and network Security, Ethical hacking, Web Application Security, Penetration Testing, Malware analysis and Cyber Forensics. Programme Educational Objectives

  • PEO1: Graduates will be able to comprehend mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, laboratory and work-based experiences to formulate and solve problems related to the domain of Cyber Security, Cyber Forensics and develop proficiency in computer based engineering and the use of computation tools.
