VLSI Design laboratory is equipped with VHDL software, FPGA Spartran3 Vertex 5 kits with Xilinx 13.2 version software, ARM processor kits with software and DSP Kits with Code Composer Studio software.M.E Communication Systems Engineering encompasses a mixture of telecommunication, data communication, networking, wireless communications, optical communications and RF MEMS. The program aims to train engineers who can engage in planning, designing and manufacturing of communication circuits and equipments required for R&D activities.
The latest emerging areas like embedded systems and embedded technology are covered in the curriculum to keep students aware of the recent trends. Students are motivated to take up projects in the reputed organizations like ISRO and DRDO. Students are also encouraged to present papers in conferences and publish papers in journals. Guest lectures, seminars, workshops, hands on training, laboratory classes conducted regularly contribute a large part of the department activities. The department imparts quality education to its students in modern lecture rooms equipped with enhanced teaching aids.The Communication Systems Laboratory is equipped with Antenna trainer kits, Fiber optic kit with video link, GPS Trainer kit, COMSOL, Intellisuite software, MALAB Software version 13.2 for simulation experiments.
