Extensive facilities are provided for sports and games for the students with an area of leveled 6 acres. The following courts have been laid down with standard specifications both for men and women students:

In addition to the above, an indoor stadium has been constructed with an area of 12,000 sq. feet. The following play field facilities are available in the indoor stadium.

Students are encouraged to participate in Inter-College, TIES and other States and National Tournaments and bring laurels to the Institution. The outstanding sports students are permitted to take part in All India Inter University Tournaments, State and National Championship. Special coaching camps are organized for Track and Field Events; Table Tennis, Tennis, Football, Basket Ball, Ball Badminton, Boxing and Cricket coaching are also given by experts every year.

An organizing committee consisting of college Team captains and sports representatives is formed for the successful conduct of all the programmes of the department.Intramural Competitions both indoor and outdoor games and annual sports meet are conducted. Cups, medals and certificates are awarded for various disciplines. Mementos are awarded to TIES medalists and outstanding State & National level players.

Second year Mechanical Engineering student K.Rajagopal has participated in National Karate Championship 2014-15 and won Gold Medal in Kata Team event and also won Silver Medal in Kata Individual event.
• Final year Mechanical Engineering student S.Gokul has passed ‘C’ and ‘B’ Certificate examination in Indian Golf Union Rules and Amateur Level 2 National Rules examinations School held at Hyderabad.
• First year Mechanical Engineering student S.Saishankar has selected to Tamil Nadu Men Throw ball Team and participate the National Throw ball Championship held at Hariyana.
• KCE Won the Overall Championship Award in Karpagam Educational Inter Institutions Tournaments conducted during the month of February 2015. This is the 4th consecutive time KCE receiving this championship award.
• Mr.N.Ganapathy, Director of Physical Education has presented a Research Paper in UGC Sponsored National Seminar on Role of Sports Sciences in Human Excellences, organized by Maruthi College of Physical Education, Coimbatore.
• The Department of Physical Education has organized the Anna University Chennai Zone 10 Ball Badminton Men, Badminton Men and Tennis Men Tournaments in the year 2014. Further it organized the Karpagam Educational Inter Institutions Ball Badminton Men, Table Tennis Men and Badminton Men and Women Tournaments during the month of February 2015.
